I'm kinda stuck between 2 headsets from Turtle Beach. Maybe u guys can help me decide which is better.

these: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/pc-gaming-headsets/ear-force-hpa2.aspx
or
these: http://store.turtlebeach.com/hpx-sshp51sc-cablefor51channelsoundcards-headsetadaptercable.aspx

If u have any other recommendations, please feel free to post them. I'd like to stay at $150 or lower but i can stretch the budget alittle.

tested out the HPA2's over at PAX earlier this year, there were cozy and sounded bomb. i'd recommend them.

Neither, get a set of high quality headphones with a $10 clipon mic.

ATH-A700's (closed back)
ATH-AD700's (open back)

I own both of the above, incredibly comfortable, high quality, only use the open backs now, better sound stage, been using both for about 2 years now.

Just read this, it explains why you shouldn't buy 5.1 headsets, and gives a breakdown of headphones for each price range with descriptions.

The only sure barrier to truth is to assume you already have it.
