This Clan Tournament idea is based on the board game RISK there is a game of this kind currently on PC. This Tournament Idea has been in motion on the Xbox 360 since 2006 when I hosted a “Gears of War Territories” Clan Tournament when I was leading the XGL Clan. The next evolution of this tournament will be on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I initially intended to do this tournament on Call of Duty 4 but at the time there was so much going on in the clan scene so this wasn’t possible up until this year. The Objective of Territories is World Domination by attacking and defending your territories.
Each territory will have a map assigned to it. Only that map will be played for that territory. All the maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be used in this tournament this also includes the maps from the Stimulus Package and Resurgence Pack, the clans that do signup to this clan tournament will detail us whether they have the map pack or not this can hinder their signup if they don’t have the map pack. There are a total of 26 Territories on the Territory Map we are beginning our first season with 10 Clans competing for World Domination with their also being 6 territories that can only be attained by the two clans that reach 3 or 4 claimed territories first for them to battle it out for these bonus territories. Each clan will begin with 2 territories each that will be randomly picked territories can be attacked on any of the match days as described in the settings although you are restricted from attacking a claimed territory just for one day this is to allow us time to update all the action on the site aswell as gives the clan time to practice on thier newly claimed map.
