Please excuse me if I am posting on the wrong place, but I was wondering if this site is also pure domination?

So is Josh, Revenge and Snipes here? Stonik? Eboy? Or is it a different crew?

I remember BlueEcho. For those of you that don't know, Echo was a member with Josh, Skytt, Stonik, BlueEcho, and Darken in our 7th "FEAR" Battalion. If I'm not mistaken, you also played for our 8th "Quake Wars" Battalion.

Didn't you go to South America or something, bro?

That's right I was traveling back and forth between South America and the US, and came to re-settle again here back in Florida.

I do have to admit that, even though I stepped away from the competitive/casual gaming scene for a long, long time, every time I think about going back I think of pD. Great memories with great buddies come to mind, I played in tournaments with pD in FEAR, pubbed frequently in AA, Quake. And our competitive prowess in CoD4! I've been building a rig recently, and considering playing again, maybe not competitively, but a good number of sessions during the week wouldn't hurt. But it's great to see many familiar names still around.

How long did you guys keep playing FEAR under the pD banner? Nice to see the site got upgraded and completely overhauled, looks a lot better now.

What prompted the change from pD to 73rd?

FEAR died off as fast as UT and ET:QW did. Those Battalions were short lived. To their credit, the FEAR team brought some notoriety to the team, but their failure in the Tournament's championship (due mostly to bad leadership and ignorance) became it's undoing.

The clan lost focus on the game. They lost, overall, the drive to practice and compete as a team. The quality of leadership from the Battalion to the Squad levels became inept. The leaders began to blame everyone but themselves for the lack of dedication and organization. Somehow, that lack of dedication became an infection that spread even to those who seemed most loyal.

Sadly, betrayal and deceit became the weapon of choice for a lot of members. The "grass is greener" took some, "I can be the leader of my own clan" took others; the rest became an organized pub-team. I decided that we needed a change from the unorganized ways of the gaming "clans" to the more organized structure of an "eSports Gaming Regiment". We lost half of who remained due to this change of structure itself.

I am very glad to say that it was this gamble and the loyalty of a select few that aloud us to build a small solid foundation under the 73rd guidon. From this foundation we build what we have today. It took determined recruiting, a lot of time learning to be leaders all over again, and even a key merger to bring in the quality and skill that make up our guys today. It was tough, indeed, but even with the bruises and scars, I wouldn't change a thing.
