Ok guys it's been a long time since I started post up reviews of hardware for your perusing. I have a free moment today and wanted to post a couple links to new CPU tech. Now with that said this thread is not a debate on AMD vs. INTEL so stow that shit. If you have comments please keep them mature. Trolls and asshats will be dealt with.

First AMD

Im going to stick with my Hexcore AMD until the Gen 2 bulldozers come out. AMD has this weird ability to get things 85% right gen 1 and then take it the rest of the way Gen 2.

I agree. Like I said before I am not a AMD guy but I have used them before and I think your statement is on the money.

Keep in mind Mike, the Ivy bridge Intel procs are just around the corner next year. They are shrinking the dye down to 22NM if my memory serves me correct and they are moving to a dif chip stacking architecture (going vert instead of horizontal).

Ya, I saw an awesome article about that chip. I was going to try to do a build with a 3960 but I can not justifiy spending the money on it with such dismal performance gains on the 2600k. So, I am going to wait until the Ivy Bridge comes out and see if it is any better.
