Having an issue where my new PC will only boot with one stick of ram in, it doesnt matter which stick or which slot, but if i have more than one in it won't boot. Any ideas?

Edit:

The ram works with 2 sticks non-dual channel so I have a feeling that the issue is its unsupported ram for my Mobo, still would like suggestions on if/how I can circumvent this.

no, that ram should work. your mobo is duel channel and that ram can be tri channel or duel channel. i'm looking around, i recall people were having an issue like this with my mobo but i don't recall the fix off the top of my head.

Christie, It can be a setting issues in bios. Notoriously, mobo companies set the voltage wrong and undervolt performance ram. you can raise or lower voltage in BIOS for ram. Look on the side of the memory stick it will tell you its operating voltage. So that is where I would start. An other place is in the cycle. If your ram operates on 1T. Try changing that to 2T and then booting with both sticks. I have more but I want you to start there.
