As title states i need a new wireless router. If any of u are router experts please feel free to enlighten me.

Get one that can support the 100+ mbit speed as you will have room to upgrade later on down the road. I currently use a modem/router combination by my internet provider so I can help you out in that aspect.

i was looking at a d-link 4500 router which supports 2.4ghz and 5ghz with 300mb+ transfer and all types of wireless like b,g, and n.

well, i'm wired at all times. wireless is for all other devices in the house, ipad, iphones, downstairs pc, wii, xbox lolz

LInksys WRT54GL (Give or take) for the price have been great routers for me, I have bricked 2, upgrading firmware + power outage / kicking power strip. reliable, stable, and farily cheap, but 100mbs is about max as far as i know.

IF ANYONE knows a easy way to brake into a Linksys router to turn up power to my long range antenna please let me know!
