It has been a full month since we have had the opportunity to affix a "bat wing" to the uniform of one of our Rangers. Earning that very first promotion with this Regiment carries with it the overwhelming feeling of relief, knowing that you've take that first big step and that you are on your way, but it also carries with it a great sense of accomplishment. This more often than not spawns a feeling of pride within the Ranger; for himself and for his team. Private Keeton Bachman wears his pride on his sleeve for all to see; teammates and opponents alike. Every time this Soldier steps onto the battlefield, there opposing forces soon realize there's gonna be hell to pay! Never one to hold back when it comes to a firefight, or when a blunt word is needed in VoiceComm, this Ranger's fighting spirit has a presence all it's own. Our Regiment will always be on the lookout for new CoRE members just like Private Bachman.

Keeton "Slayer" Bachman has been promoted from the rank of Private to  Private Second Class, and is awarded all the authorities and privileges due that rank.

On their own, a pair of chevrons aren't very imposing at all. However, on a soldier's uniform they can weigh a great deal, and carry with them the responsibility of an entire team, as well as the mission itself. This is true even in our Virtual Combat Units. David Helmuth enlisted in the 73rd CombatOps Regiment, but almost immediately was faced with personal hardships and more than a few hills to overcome in his real life. After a brief LOA, he returned to find the 11th Bad Company 2 Battalion mustering, slowly. He decided to dedicate his play-time, even if that meant gaming alone from time to time (while the other members concentrated on the MW2 playoffs), toward gaining a solid understanding of the game overall, as well as a firm grasp of the tactics and intricacies that he would later use to help instruct and train his fellow Rangers. Without a torch bearer, the BC2 Squads would surely have missed the first season of League combat and more than likely the game would have failed to develop into a fully functioning Battalion within our Regiment. It is that dedication, commitment, and unwavering loyalty that has earned this recognition, today.

It is my privilege to announce the following promotion and assignment:

David "Homebrew" Helmuth has been appointed to the rank of Corporal, enrolled in our Regiment's Junior Non-Commissioned Officer Leadership Training, and assigned as a Squad Leader within the 11th Bad Company 2 Battalion's Delta Company. I am positive that with the help of the other Cadre and the experience and determination he has already demonstrated, Corporal Helmuth will rise through the ranks of our NCO corps with the greatest of ease. If the NCO is the backbone of any fighting unit, then the ridged spine of our forces just got a whole lot stronger.

With our Regiment waging war in both MW2 and BC2 and joining more campaigns on each of those fronts, we are scouting and recruiting new blood on a daily basis. In addition to fresh boots enlisting each week we are in the process of finalizing a team merger which will add to the Strength, Skill, and Diversity of our rosters and our Regiment as a whole. The more Rangers we field, and the more opponents we encounter on the battlefield or in our own server, the more the need for a watchful eye to ensure that ALL competitions we engage in are fought by and against legit soldiers.

It has been more than two years since we have had an active and skilled Officer assigned to the office of Anti-Cheat Enforcement. This position literally serves as an EagleEye keeping watch on our Rangers, our Opponents, as well as assisting in all investigations and researching all applicants. This position is not an easy one and while the A.C.E. Officer(s) do not hold a seat on the J.C.S. (leadership council) for the purpose of making competitive decisions, as an Officer in this Regiment the Officer(s) assigned may. The office of Anti-Cheat Enforcement reports directly to the J.C.S. and answers to the Regiment Commander and Executive Officer.

It is my privilege to announce the following promotion and assignment:

Adam "Moozilla" Haungs" has  been  appointed  to  the  rank  of Warrant Officer, enrolled in our Regiment's Officer Training Program, and is hereby assigned as Anti-Cheat Enforcement Officer. With WO1 A.Haungs on watch, I am sure that our goal of maintaining an impeccable reputation for legit and honest game play will be a sure-shot. While everyone makes mistakes, and we understand that anyone can crack under pressure, it is our goal to ensure that cheating while on our roster NEVER occurs. The commitment of this Regiment to keep dishonest gamers off of our teams has never been higher. I have seen very few "reformed gamers" in all my years of virtual combat, therefore when applying to our team all applicants will be researched; while playing against our Squads all players will be scrutinized; while on our roster all Rangers will be held to the highest standard with ZERO tolerance for cheating of ANY kind. WO1 A.Haungs has full authority and autonomy in these areas as well as access to all servers, records and files. I have the utmost confidence that the Rosters of our Virtual Combat Units will be by far the cleanest in the community.

Brothers, to Brothers in Arms. The 73rd Regiment is pleased to announce that we've added two more Rangers to our gaming family. It was a bright day for our unit when we found these two very skilled Brothers who showed commitment and loyalty to each other, and who brought that dedication with them to our Regiment to share with the rest of our Rangers. Having completed all the requirements to become Rangers, the following Recruits are hereby awarded their tags:

Jacob "EviLDarKFalL" Bachman has been awarded full membership with the 73rd Rangers, promoted to the rank of Private and assigned to the 10th "MW2" Battalion

Keeton "Slayer" Bachman has been awarded full membership with the 73rd Rangers, promoted to the rank of Private and assigned to 10th "MW2" Battalion.

In our growing Regiment, with new boots enlisting each week and with new soldiers dedicating themselves to our team and to their individual goal of being the best members they can be by earning the rank and recognition reflective of their active daily commitment, it is no wonder that we not only have a group of Rangers who are ready to lead our Virtual Combat Units into the battles that lie ahead, but that we also have a need for more leadership at the highest levels.

Chris Milot has served within the teams of this Regiment on and off for many years, and while the faces around him inevitably change, he knows that our mission and our commitment to our team goals do not. Our Modern Warfare 2 units continue to fight within the campaigns of the Team Warfare Leagues, and as we add new rosters and leadership to these Squads, there also comes a need for oversight, guidance, and accountability to help the young NCOs tasked with the responsibility of serving as Squad Leaders for these teams. 

With our first Officer Appointment in over two years it is my privilege to announce the following promotion and Command assignment:

Christopher "Bhamcrew" Milot  has  been  appointed  to  the  rank  of Second Lieutenant, enrolled in our Regiment's Officer Training Program, and is hereby assigned as Commander of our 10th Modern Warfare 2 Battalion. With Lieutenant Milot's drive and attention to detail, as well as his ability to inspire and lead the Rangers under his command, I have no doubt that our MW2 Squads will be leading the pack and bringing home League, Ladder, and Tournament Championships in not time.
